Group Fitness Instructor Jo

Personal Trainer, Group Exercise Instructor and Running Coach

Jo specialises in getting mums their Mojo back, 95% of her clients are mums and a few bring their babies and toddlers along to sessions. And in the school holidays her house/garden doubles as a holiday club when all the big ones play together whilst the mums get their workouts in.


Jo's love of fitness began in her childhood where she spent many years as a competitive swimmer. Over the years Joanne has grown a love for group exercise classes, outdoor boot camps, running and taking part in various challenges a long the way including marathons and mountain climbing.


Her 40th year brought Jo's biggest challenge to date, successfully summiting Kilimanjaro alongside her brother in Oct ‘23. They spent 10 months training and climbing UK peaks in preparation, Mam Tor, Snowdon and Scafell Pike. Now to plan the next adventure, maybe somewhere warmer next time, the Inca Trail perhaps?


2024 starts with Jo hosting her first (of hopefully many) retreats, a half marathon alongside one of her clients to reach her goal and a new location teaching body pump. She also plans to take my PT business online.
