Yoga, Pilates & Fitness Instructor

Lou has been teaching Fitness, Yoga & Pilates for the past 20 years, initially in London, then travelling around the world and now based in Essex. 

Always having a keen interest in fitness in sport, studying for a BA Hons and Master in Sport and Dance, it was when she was training in Dance that she was introduced to Yoga and Pilates and noticed a complete change in the way her body moved after just a few sessions. Ever since both Yoga and Pilates have been a staple in both her teaching and own practice/training.

Lou feels very privileged to have helped and worked with so many people on their own journey’s, breaking down barriers and introducing Yoga and Pilates to all. Her classes are suitable for all levels, often using props and different options of exercises throughout all of her classes. Her style of teaching focusses on alignment and kinaesthetic connection, not what the movement looks like but more how it feels in the body.

Upcoming Retreats

It was my first time ever at a yoga retreat and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was excellently hosted - the accommodation, instruction, meals and allotted time were excellent. There was nothing to disappoint and I would join another retreat in a heartbeat.

This was my first experience of a yoga retreat and my first time to Morocco . It was fabulous, the accommodation set amongst beautiful gardens with rooftop views added to the tranquility, the weather was superb . There were 13 on our trip which meant we were all able to get to know each other and no one was left out. Lou's daily classes, morning pilates and sunset yoga were very enjoyable, under Lou's terrific instruction we worked, encouraged and laughed together. A smashing retreat.
